1. TIME AND PLACE

38. Saaremaa 3-day running marathon takes place in Saaremaa island (Estonia) - on the roads around Kuressaare town and Sõrve peninsula, from 14th to 16th of October, 2011.

3. PARTICIPANTS

The competition is for individuals as well as for teams.

Age limits :

- participants in main race must be 16 years old or older on Friday, 14th of October;

- participants in youth race must be 15 years old or younger on Friday, 14th of October;

- there are no age limits in open race.

The competition is at your own risk.

3.1. Individual competition

Belonging to the age group is determined with the age on Friday, 14th of October.

Summarizing the results for all three days gives the rank of order for individual competitors together.

3.2. Teams competition

A team consists of 3-4 runners. A team can be formed by the following criteria: sports clubs, companies, universities, the teams of towns and counties, sponsor teams. As for the rank of order for teams, the sum of the results of three better runners of every team is taken into consideration.

4. AWARDS

The Award ceremony takes place on Sunday at 14:00 at Kuressaare Sport Center, Vallimaa Street 16A.

• First 6 men awarding: 250, 200, 150, 125, 100, 75 EUR
• First 3 woman awarding: 150, 125, 100 EUR
• Age groups first three gets awards
• Best teams (men, women, senior, junior) awards (3-4 member in team)
• Lottery for all finishers
• Every finisher get a diploma with result and competition souvenir
